About Me

Personal Ministry Statement

I believe worship grounds and connects us as a community and have an interest and skill in liturgy planning. I’ve demonstrated the gift of pastoral care, particularly to the dying and their families. An information gatherer and researcher, I believe part of my call is to be a resource for others. I’m influenced by our seminary cross standing outside the chapel as a reminder the church is to go out into the world, which means I feel I’m to serve the parish I’m in while also being a bridge to the community and world. People tend to find me approachable, this combined with being extroverted helps me connect with people. I have an interest in spiritual disciplines and feel called to support individuals and communities in their spiritual growth. I also encourage others to share the difference faith and spiritual community make in their lives using both words and actions. Growing up in a diverse community has created a comfort and interest in interacting with people of different generations, races, cultures, and faith traditions as well as support for LGBTQ issues.
